The other school of thought has it that this dysfunctional behavior is due to the improper functioning of the hypothalamus in the brain, which is known to regulate metabolic processes in the body. There is also a third theory which states certain chemicals in the brain or neurotransmitters’ imbalance nature of working triggers anorexia.
